SASTECH was founded in 2019, and has achieved important milestones in a short time. The company's business plan received support from Innovation Norway, and gradually other Norwegian and foreign investors have joined. Dr. Alf Bjørseth known as an entrepreneur and industrial builder from Scatec and REC are chairman of the board.

Dr. Alf Bjørseth

Chairman

Dr. Alf. Bjørseth is a Norwegian serial entrepreneur who is behind several successful startups such as Renewable Energy Corporation ASA and Scatec Solar ASA, both quoted on the Norwegian Stock Exchange. In addition, he has numerous industrial companies under development, e.g. Norsun, Norsk Titanium, Thor Energy, Reetec, TEGma etc.

Dr. Bjørseth holds a Phd in Physical Chemistry from the University of Oslo, Norway. He is an honorary member of the Norwegian Chemical Society and the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences. In 2016 he was awarded Commander The Royal Norwegian Order of Saint Olav, given for remarkable accomplishments for Norwegian Industry.

Geir Ludvik Olsen

Board Member

Geir is a successful entrepreneur who has built and sold multiple businesses throughout his 30+ year career. (Founder of SASTECH AS). Most of these businesses and franchises have been built and managed within his conglomerate Vitar AS, which he founded in 1989. Geir developed and ran businesses in areas as diverse as retail, entertainment, real estate or tourism, with one of his latest venture being the development of hotel Svart (www.svart.no) which has attracted a lot of national and international attention for going to become the world’s first energ positive hotel. The project was sold in 2018.

The buisness model of SASTECH was launched by Geir in early 2019 and his experience in setting up and building thriving businesses is a key asset in the Company’s success.

Francois Hora

Board Member

Francois is currently CEO of Cumplus Asset Management Limited, a multi-billion dollar international investement management company with offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, he is originally from Switzerland. Francois has been in Asia since 2008, and in the investment management industry for 20 years, initially on the investment side, before moving to business development and management.

Next to his experience in growing a business from its start-up phase, Francois Hora brings to SASTECH a macroeconomic investment perspective as well as an extensive investor network.

Kirstin Ingebrigtsen

Board Member

Kristin is currently engaged as a member of different board and trustee positions. Kristin has her background from finance, HR, strategy, and communication in several large companies in Norway. In addition to those positions, Kristin has also worked with capital management both as an employee and CEO.

Kristin brings to SASTECH a broad experience in growing a business, having worked with different companies both as an employee, manager, but als analyzing different companies from the outside, will bring valuable experience to the company.

Management

SASTECH has a management with deep and broad experience. Our team has solid management experience both administratively and operationally, in addition to distinct industrial process experience. We have demonstrated this in projects and concept development within construction, property, production and the solar industry.

Roy Bonnegolt

Chief Executive Officer

Roy has extensive experience as CEO and believes that human capital is the most important resource in a company. Roy is able to see the strengths and challenges of both the employees and the company and has a strategic and analytical approach to work related tasks. As CEO, Roy is motivated by the opportunity to steer the company towards positive results.

With 17 years' background from the Felleskjøpet group, both as a member of the top management and as CEO / general manager of many of the companies in Felleskjøpet's ownership, Roy has contributed his expertise in business development, acquisitions, joint ventures and organic growth for several companies.

The experience from medium-sized and large companies both nationally and internationally over the past 20 years means that we are proud to have Roy as a leader on the road to SASTECH's future goals.

Jarle Sølyst

Cief Technology Officer

Jarle has worked in the energy sector for the past 20 years, both in the public and private sectors. In addition to being a publicly approved energy consultant, he has broad knowledge in oil, gas and hydroelectric energy production and infrastructure.

His extensive experience with various types of technical equipment, e.g. ventilation, HVAC, sensors, solar panels, heat pumps, geothermal heating, district heating, heat storage and smart control systems, is an invaluable competence for SASTECH.

Expertise and insight, not only in individual components, but in how the overall energy capacity can become more efficient when the various components work together, is in many ways the very essence of SASTECH's business idea.

Anders J. M. Strøm

Director of Operations

Before joining SASTECH in 2019, Anders spent 6 years in the solar energy industry at Norwegian Crystals, which is probably the monocrystalline manufacturer in the world with the lowest carbon footprint (the energy comes from hydropower). There he filled both sales and finance positions and worked with suppliers and customers at both national and international level.

The work with renewable energy also included collaboration with multinational companies in a business cluster called the Arctic Cluster Team (ACT). ACT aims to be a driving force for the green shift in Norway. Anders' commercial experience in renewable energy has opened doors for SASTECH, which has thus been able to enter into several supply agreements with major players, which has given the company opportunities globally.

is established

SASTECH grows fast and expands first to Sandefjord, then to Larvik. The office in Larvik, with its specialist expertise, will be responsible for the core business

Andreas Sveinsen

Development Manager

Has worked in Drytech for the past 19 years, since 2008 as automation manager. Formally trained as an automation technician. The main focus has been PLC, HMI, SCADA, digitization and automation, both serving and programming, as well as making recommendations on new strategic investments.

Subordinate function as a link between operators and machines, and between operators and the management team, with a keen focus on optimizing all processes. As chief technician, he is a resource in the training of other personnel. At SASTECH, he is responsible for automation.

Pål Solberg

Project Manager

Before he was employed at SASTECH, Pål worked as an ITB coordinator (Integrated Technical Building Installations). Pål has many years of experience as a project manager in the areas of electrical building installation, transport, tunnels and traffic lights.

Coordinating the entire technical installation and coordinating subcontractors is essential to be able to optimize the energy consumption of a building. Some of the buildings are certified in BREEAM.

Pål has also worked with PLC programming and protocols for communication between platforms. He has been head of departments for several years and is educated with a Bachelor's degree in energy management from Denmark. Energy management includes ISO 50001, ISO 140001, sustainability, energy optimization, CBA, LCA. Pål also has a degree in electrical power and a certificate as an electrician.

Thomas Gleditsch Abrahamsen

Sales Manager

Thomas has worked as a sales manager at SASTECH since 2020. From 2003 until his employment at SASTECH, Thomas was involved in sales activities. His previous position as sales manager was at Holte AS, where he was responsible for three departments and 25 sales consultants.

Thomas has a Bachelor in Business and Administration from Lambuth University (Jackson TN, USA), and before this he attended Doha College (1989-1995).

Nick Ludvik Olsen

Production Manager

Studies in logistics and industrial operations. Worked with logistics and process industry at Yara, Bilfinger, Norwegian Crystals and Nordic Industries. Responsible for development of SASTECH's container system (battery storage). Certified drone pilot.

Chemical-technical industrial certificate, with several years of work experience in production and maintenance in the PV sector (solar cells, semiconductors etc.) in various companies
